The stones are Blue Mojave Turquoise. The stone is a composite stone made from Kingman turquoise scraps from the bead making process. These scraps are dyed, then mixed with bronze or copper, resin is added then they are compressed under pressure to make stones blacks that are then slabbed in order to be cut into cabochons for jewelry making. It is a great use of a product that would otherwise go to waste. Plus, it just makes for a really pretty stone for jewelry making!

the stones are set in sterling silver, on square sterling silver wire. The ear wires are also sterling silver. The earrings measure about 1 1/2” long.
