This is a “composite stone” consisting of Kingman Turquoise, Spiny Oyster shell and bronze. They use the cutout pieces of turquoise left after cutting cabochons and beads and mix them with oyster shell and bronze in a resin to make this pretty stone! It is a great use of resources-nothing goes to waste and we get the beautiful colors from all three elements! The pendant measures 1 7/8” long and about 1” wide. The stone is set in sterling silver w/ brass twisted wire frame, all on sterling silver backplate. The pendant is hung on a 1.6mm 18” long sterling silver snake chain.
