These elongated stones of Maligano Jasper are set off by the little white cubic zirconia stones at the bottom of the earrings. The silver has been oxidized to emphasize the textured back plate the stones are mounted on. The earrings are sterling silver as are the ear wires.

The name “Maligano” comes from the small village it was found in on the island of Sulawesi (part of the four Greater Sunda Islands). It contains multiple different colors of Jasper (blue, red, orange, yellow, grey and beige) with veins of a greyish-silver Agate that has filled the cavities.
