This is a “composite” stone made from Kingman Turquoise, Spiny Oyster, and Bronze. The scraps pieces left from cutting cabochons from each of the materials are combined in resin, pressurized into slabs, then cut into cabochons. It is a great way to use all of the turquoise and spiny oyster so that nothing is wasted. And-it makes for a beautiful stone for jewelry!

Kingman turquoise comes from Kingman, Arizona where I purchased the stone.

The pendant measures 1 3/8” long and 3/4” wide. The stone is set in a brass bezel with a sterling silver round wire frame all hung on 2 14K gold-filled jump rings that the chain is attached. It has a 18” 1.6 mm Sterling Silver Snake Chain.
