This pendant is comprised of Bumble Bee Jasper from Indonesia as the “body” of the figure and Labradorite as the “head”. They are all set in Sterling silver with Sterling Silver wire surrounding the form. The back of the piece is sterling silver that has been textured using my rolling mill. The piece has been patinated to give it an aged look. The pendant measures 2 1/8” long and 1/2” wide. It is Hund from an 18” 1.6mm Sterling Silver Snake Chain.

Bumble Bee Jasper is a vibrantly colored orange, yellow, and black material actually formed from a mixture of Indonesian volcano lava and sediment. A carbonate-rich rock first discovered on the island of Java during the 1990s. Bumble Bee Jasper isn't truly a jasper stone but the name has stuck for a variety of reasons. Labradorite is said to detoxify the body and slow the aging process. Named for Labrador Island in Canada the first place it was discoved.
