These pretty teardrop of Variscite is set in sterling silver with a sterling silver twisted rope frame andall put in a shadow box of sterling silver that all has been oxidized to show the textures. It is hung on an oxidized sterling silver twisted rope 18” chain.

Variscite is more rare and less common than turquoise, but because it is not as commonly available as turquoise or as well known to the general public. Notable localities are Lucin, Utah, Snowville, Utah, and Fairfield, Utah in the United States. Most recently found in Wyoming as well. It is also found in Germany, Australia, Poland, Spain and Brazil.
