Shattuckite ring

$140.00

The beautiful blue stone in this ring is Shattuckite, a relatively rare copper silicate mineral. It was first discovered in 1915 in the copper mines of Bisbee, Arizona, specifically the Shattuck Mine (hence the name).

Shattuckite is a fairly new mineral, only discovered in 1915, and is incredibly rare. So far, the mineral has been found in Bisbee, Arizona, and has only one dedicated Shattuckite mine in the world.

The stone is set in sterling silver gallery wire and is on a patterned sterling silver wire shank. It is a size 6.
