This beautiful and unique stone is called a Yolk Stone because of the vivid yellow color. The stone is an opaque variety of Mookaite Jasper, only found in Western Australia. The stone features earthy tones, ranging from yellow to mustard, with swirls of cream, muted browns and black.
The texture of the stone is polished in places and left rough in others to give the stone a very tactile feel to the lucky person who wears it.
The stone is set in sterling silver and hangs on a sterling silver tube bail. The necklace is 5mm Black braided leather, with stainless steel caps with sterling silver clasp. I have added a 3” extension of sterling silver chain to give options on the length of the necklace.
